Mar de Leva

Mar de Leva is a group of musicians born in different regions, residing in Barcelona. Their work interweaves the distinct timbres of the Venezuelan cuatro, the richness of the mandolin's sound, the versatility of the cello, the sweetness of the voice and the lyrics they hear, with distinct Pan-Hispanic and international folk rhythms, mixed with improvisations inherited from jazz, to create their own unique sound.
